For sale is a matching Blueberry Blue keyboard & mouse set, originally included with the G3 Apple iMac. This set was part of the \"Fruit Colors\" series, which also included Lime Green and Tangerine Orange, among other \"Flavors.\" Both items are genuine Apple items, and both use the USB 1.0, compatible with any Mac with a USB port and most PCs, as well.
Both the keyboard and mouse are in excellent condition, free of any dust, dirt, or grime. There are a few small scuffs on the back of the keyboard near the Apple logo, though they are hard to notice. The letters and numbers on the keys are still clean and white, the clear/white trim is still is nice condition and the USB cable is free of any kinks or damage, showing only some normal yellowing from age. The white trim around the plug end of the USB cable is still sharp and white, as are the ports at the top of the keyboard. All keys are fully functional and responsive, and the blue and clear/white trim colors still really pop. I have carefully brushed between each and every key on the keyboard to loosen any built-up dust, and the keyboard will arrive fully cleaned, sanitized, and ready to use.
The mouse has been carefully cleaned inside and out, including gently brushing the internal plastic shell and rollers free of dust and dirt. It is in fantastic shape for its age, free of any excessive wear or fading, showing only a few small markings on the body and button. The cable is fully intact and free of any tears or kinks, though its cable is a bit more yellowed than the keyboard\'s, and this can be seen most clearly when the mouse\'s cable is plugged into the USB port keyboard. That being said, the mouse still looks great, has been fully tested, and found to be in perfect working order. The white trim around the plug end of the USB cable is still sharp and white, just like the keyboard.
This is a \"matching set,\" with both the keyboard and mouse belonging to the first \"Fruit Colors\" series of the original G3 iMac, also know as Rev. C and Rev. D. Notable features of these specific models include a noticeable green-colored circuit board inside the mouse and on the back of the keyboard, an indented main button on the mouse, and an \"aqua blue\" product label on the back of both items. The mouse also features a slightly matte, textured surface on the blue-colored side bumpers - which was changed to a clear glossy finish in later models.
Judging by the gray / white internal mouse ball, I am taking an educated guess and thinking that this keyboard and mouse were originally included with a Revision D Blueberry iMac, the kind often seen in school computer labs in the late 90s. Given the excellent condition of the items, though, I don\'t think this mouse and keyboard were used in schools, and appear to have seen only normal household use over the years.
