Up for sale a Vintage 1973 KC8-EA front panel console board froma Digital Equipment Corporation PDP 8/E Computer. The board is in greatcosmetic shape. sale is for the board only (last photo is for referenceonly). It is UNTESTED, but all the switches operate smoothly and all paddlesare intact. All the lights are in place, as is the original (and rare) knob.The 8/E plastic front-panel overlays (not included) come up on from timeto time, and you can pick one up to complete this console board for display orre-animation. The board is date-stamped “October 16, 1973”. Copies of the boardlogic description, ECOs, and schematics are included in the sale. Forinformation on re-animating PDP consoles into “blinkenlights” displays (checkout the resources from the good folks at Retrocmp). Sold as-is for parts orrestoration, unknown working condition untested, no returns. Check out thesuper-sized pics for a complete look.
