Plotterhas been tested and was able to successfully print a demo print in one color,only one pen will be included. The pen works but is fading / at the end of itsusable life, thankfully you can still buy replacements and even refill existingpens with a small bit of work. No further testing was done besides printing atest print, exact functional status is unknown. Lot of information on these plottersis available on the internet! These units are known to require you to havefaulty paper loading mechanisms, this unit loads paper fine but sometimes takesmultiple attempts, reconditioning the rubber rollers and grabbers should fixthis problem. Cosmetic condition is good showing scuffs and scratches from regular use to beexpected on a plotter from a 37 year old computer accessory. There is a crack in the side of the housing but this does not affect operation of the unit.

The7550 was the most advanced small plotter ever built. It had an incredibleacceleration of 6g, making it one of the fastest plotters ever (and the mostfun to watch). The 7550 had 8 pens and could plot on many types of mediaincluding paper, transparency film, vellum and polyester film. It was also thefirst plotter to include a sheet feeder, which allowed for unattended plotting.The 7550 had some minor limitations: its replot buffer was too small to beuseful, it was big and it had a noisy fan. The 7550B offered the option ofmemory upgrades. Overall, the product never had a peer in the marketplace andit had a ten-year product life.

Thisis a vintage item. It was inspected at time of listing and shown to bein the condition described above. However, due to the age of this item, wecannot guarantee continued functionality and it is being sold “as-is.”
