Vintage IBM Thinkpad A20m Laptop Windows 95, Floppy Drive, Gaming, Works:

Up for sale is a Vintage IBM ThinkPad A20m laptop with Windows 95 installed, Working built-in Floppy Disk Drive. The laptop is in good working and cosmetic condition other than two minor issues detailed below.Software:Windows 95, and old IBM vintage software and games, etc.Hardware:
The laptop is equipped with an Intel Pentium 3 CPU at 700 Mhz, 128 MB RAM, 20 GB hard drive, 14" LCD (1024x768), Both 9-pin Serial port and 25-pin Printer port (many legacy applications rely on these ports), CDROM drive, a USB port, Modem port, External VGA port, PCMCIA slot, LAN port, etc. Main Battery is dead (will not be shipped), CMOS battery was just replaced, OEM AC Adapter is also included.
This laptop is most suitable for Windows 95/98 gaming and other legacy applications. As far as Internet goes, the Windows 95 supported browsers are too old for modern WEB pages. So do not buy this for Internet purposes.Known Issues:There are two minor issues that I don't think worth to fix yet.
1. Each time reboot, you need to unplug the power cord and replug it in to power it on. The issue is likely caused by an overcharged capacitor. In order to fix it, it needs to locate the capacitor and replace it or replace the whole motherboard. It is not an easy task and I don't think it has to be done at current status. You only need to unplug and replug it.2. The LCD has a vertical area (about 1+ inch wide) that has a light shadow. It only shows when that area is under lighter background, but not shown under darker background. See picture #4 and #5 for details. In order to fix this, it needs to replace the LCD panel. But I don't think it has to be done for most of the usages. If you do need to fix it, I will charge $50 more to replace the LCD panel.Cosmetically, it is used with normal wear and tear for its age. There are light scrtaches on LCD lid top and bottom. overall in good cosmetic condition for its age. See pictures.

Laptop will be cleaned up and fully tested before shipping.

Laptop will be carefully packed and, shipped in UPS ground or Fedex Home or USPS Ground with insurance.
