Up for sale is a rare Vintage IBM ThinkPad i Series 1171 laptop with Windows 98 SE Installed. The laptop is in great working condition.
Software:Windows 98 SE, vintage software and games, etc.Hardware:
The laptop is equipped with an Intel Celeron CPU at 550 Mhz, 192 MB RAM, 4.7 GB hard drive, 13" LCD (1024x768), 25-pin Printer port, CDROM drive, 2 USB ports, Modem port, External VGA port, PCMCIA slot, etc. No Battery, OEM AC Adapter is also included.
This laptop is most suitable for Windows 95/98 gaming and other legacy applications. As far as Internet goes, the Windows 98 SE supported browsers are too old for modern WEB pages. So do not buy this for Internet purposes.Cosmetically, it is used with normal wear and tear. There is a hairline crack near PC card slot on right. Overall in good cosmetic condition for its age. See pictures.Known Issues and Notes:1. There is no hard driver cover. Used a rubber cover for now (Picture 10).
2. No battery3. A crack near PC card slots (super glued) (Picture 11)
4. PC card slot cover is lost (Picture 7)
5. RAM cover screw base broken. Used a tape to hold it. (Picture 11)

Laptop will be cleaned up and fully tested before shipping.
