This unit comes working. I personally installed the 1083mb hard disk, formatted and installed ms-dos 6.22 and windows 3.11. Monitor is not included.
Theres something on the cover, I will clean this unit up before I ship. It won't be perfect, but it won't be dirty in the same way as it is on the front here.
There is no sound card present. I installed the 3.5" floppy drive to install the OS because that is the install media that I have. I will include the drive, however it will be packaged separately in the box because there's not a drive bay adapter present and I don't want it flopping around... hahahaha see what I did here?
Anyways. I tinkered with the CDROM but could not make it function- not sure if thats just beyond me or if the driver isn't present; or the jumpers arent set right on the IDE; or if the IDE is in the wrong pinout.
(there are four IDE 40 pins on this setup, none of which are on the mainboard. One is on a primary ISA card slot labeled primary and secondary, the other two are on another ISA card- got me beat, I don't know- good luck on the CD drive.
Anyways- You want this, and it will be a dependable way to play your favorite vintage games. Also, I need it sold, and I need to pay my child support. Win Win. Enjoy! Follow my shop- I always have a supply of vintage to modern consumer electronics. <3
