I bought this drive new from Amazon on March 19 (see receipt) to pair with a Synology NAS, and new Mac. After setting it up and using it for a few weeks, I\'ve realized an external hard drive is going to work much more seamlessly with the Apple ecosystem (Photos and Time Machine, particularly). I should\'ve researched more before making the purchase. My loss is your gain. I don\'t have the box in came in, but will pack it well and send it insured. No bad sectors reported by Synology upon initial setup.
