Up for sale is another machine from my collection. It is a Macintosh Performa 200 - the consumer equivalent of the Macintosh Classic II.
- 10MB RAM
- 84MB SCSI Hard Disk (boots, runs programs)
- 1.44MB Floppy Drive (working)
- Ultrasonically-cleaned and Recapped logic board
- Recapped analog board
- Mouse and keyboard
- Power cord
It has a fully recapped logic board with a MacBatt installed enabling you to use a CR-2032 battery instead of the leaky ones originally used by Apple. Great for collectors planning to store and use this infrequently.
Its analog board has also been recapped. The audio and video sound and look flawless. The machine powers up and boots to System 7. Any visual artifacts in the photos are from my camera. Screen has no visible burn and probably minimal use.
The installed hard disk is an original 84MB Quantum LPS SCSI drive and it’s the original drive with the original owner’s files still included. Please note that spinning hard disks may not have the longevity of solid state replacements, but it’s a much more authentic experience.
This machine’s plastics have a patina from age, but the keyboard and mouse are closer to the original hue. While the machine worked perfectly in my testing (including the 1.44MB internal floppy drive!) I cannot offer any warranty on 35 year old equipment. As such, I cannot accept returns.
You will receive it as pictured and the shipping fee includes a new box, peanuts, and multiple layers of bubble wrap.
Thank you.
