Vintage Zenith Data Systems ZCM-1430 color CRT monitor. Manufactured July, 1992.
Tested to power on and display an image only. Pictured is 800x600 @ 60Hz in Windows 95. Great for a variety of retro computing or retro gaming purposes or to complete your Zenith PC system.
It is clean with no major damage, just typical minor scuffs and wear. The swivel base is missing.
The picture does not seem to stretch to the horizontal edges of the screen. I am NOT a CRT expert, so no advanced evaluation or adjustments were performed.
Please note that CRTs are easily damaged in transit, so extra care will be taken to ensure safe shipping. Lots of bubble wrap and a brand new box will be used.This is part of an ongoing effort to intercept usable/repairablevintagetech items from the local e-waste stream and place them back into service.It is in functional condition at the time of listing, and will be tested again before shipping. However, this is still a 32 year old monitor, so it is being sold as-is with no warranty or returns.
