🤚 INTENDED FOR EXPERIENCED LINUX USERS (we provide this server hardware [connect to television or monitor for screen not included - working / tested VGA cable is included - attach to tv to get started right away!], you will need to build your own website, which takes time / research - installation disk provides a good starting point, basic networking experienced required)


BONUS: also functions as full fledged computer! Plug in VGA cable into television, select input to VGA/PC mode on television, and use keyboard for command line. Less experienced users may like to buy this as a home computer, if owning a television offering VGA cable input (we can share how - BIOS / already set up ready for this).


* Only buy if you want as computer for television (ask any questions), or if using as selfhosting server: only intended for those who already know how to set up their server (selfhosting options installer DVD included, but experience strongly recommended - we want you to have a good experience, and that requires your willingness to learn / experiment - works as another linux server would - ask any questions you might have on what is possible).

If you have experience selfhosting, this is a great server (we include a DVD installer as option, but you can otherwise install anything else you like.)


WANT TO BUY / USE AS COMPUTER? YOU CAN!


After receiving, to use a screen, hook the included VGA cables between your respectsyoutech server, and VGA port carrying television or monitor, and power on the television. Further instructions supplied for basic powering on.


IMPORTANT: if intending to use this as a server, software setup on your end is currently required (and knowledge on setting up / installing Linux / servers for those using as server). Everyone has different needs, and this is why this is offered as a general purpose computer or server.


If inexperienced, makes a nice television based computer for anyone (does not need to run as server - run any compatible X86_64bit Linux operating system you decide to install.


NO BATTERY: COMES WITH POWER SUPPLY FOR OUTLET (cord). This allows us to ship Priority shipping.

You do not need battery for this: comes with fully capable power supply for wall outlet.


Battery can be installed if you have one or ask about upgrade options, but battery not included in listing price

Running this as television (for screen) as general purpose computer does not require same experience as selfhosting.


* Selfhosting requires you to learn / know basics of routing, firewall rules, and understanding what your ISP allows in port forwarding (for example). Not intended for those unfamiliar with these topics - you have been WARNED.


This does not come with a running website: that is for you to build. Comes with the pictured computer, and installation disk for a potentially more friendly set up.


BOOKMARK / WATCH THIS: pics of web mgmt option to come (installer disc included for reinstall as fresh option). While it comes with installer disc for easier web management, NOT intended for beginners unless you have patience, are willing to read online documentation, and havs a willingness to learn (did we mention some patience - some software set up / your home network changes required, but installer gives you much easier start).


Some experience with Linux / networking strongly recommended, but if patient + having willingness to teach yourself, friendlier than from scratch beginner ready options come on disc.


Did you know the most potential for securely hosting a website is from home, or another location you control the hardware 100%?


IMPORTANT: if hosting from home, you may need to open port forwarding for ports you wish accessible to the web. OR: you could set up this as a reverse end-to-end encryption overlay for your web applications (message us for details).


***We include DVD installer disc for easier to manage self hosting webserver operating system based on Debian (basic install can be included' but you may wish to install it more custom for yourself with included disc.


Tip: Some Linux experience recommended. Though you can read online documentation if patient, willing to learn.
