How could I give such a budget processor a 5 star rating? Because a product's target market must be taken into consideration. Using 55 watts, providing plenty of speed for everyday computing, or even running a combination media server/HTPC, the 3220 has handled everything I have thrown at it for almost a year. The system runs 24/7, has both Plex Media Server and Plex Home Theater installed on Windows 7, using only the onboard graphics with an Intel DZ77BH-55K, a 128 GB SSD, and three mechanical drives holding tons of 720p and 1080p media and never has a hiccup.
I don't actually know, I bought this and then realized that they were too new for the boards I had on hand, so I'm holding on to them until I find someone that needs them, or until I have boards that they are compatible with. I had bought these for a small clustering lab, but again, unfortunately they are incompatible with the boards I have. Evidently more research was required.
