If you want your computer to function as it should provide it with additional memory if it has slots to support it. The memory chip installs in minutes and improves performance. Anyone adding memory has to make sure the it the proper fit so it functions well. The mother board required 8GB DIMM DDR3 Desktop PC3-12800 .

Its 8gig and 1600!
As far as quality it's a great basic piece of RAM. fits right. if it had heat shields then it wouldn't fit but if I needed shields I wouldn't be using a Mini case. My only wonder is why the 8gig costs the same as the 16 gig. buts it's still a better value than anything else I could find.
