Mouse

I boot knoppix, and it loads fine and everything except I can not use my mouse.

System Specs...


Laptop
Win 98
Hp Pavilion
Uses a standard laptop mouse (touchpad type)

How can I get the mouse to work?


EDIT: I tried plugging a standard mouse in the back and still no reaction.
