Usually the error is that the remaster size is too large for cloop compression. Sometimes the error results from incorrect command structure...mistyped.
Please post the error statement which usually defines the problem area.

sinking,
Two remarks:
1 - If this is the command for generating the KNOPPIX compressed iso, it's wrong! This will generate an iso whithout headers (iso level 2 or level 4), like when we generate the main and minimodules on a Morphix distro. The correct command would be mkisofs -R -hide-rr-moved -cache-inodes -pad source/knoppix | nice -5 create_compressed_fs - 65536 > master/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX;
2 - If you're trying to remaster your HD installed knoppix, you'd better try the script I made available at http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18222&start=20. If you're gonna use it, please follow closely the instructions given on the posts. The last version available is knxhdremaster_en-1.4.sh.
Good luck!
