to copy you have MANY programs already on the DVD; like K3B and dd, ddrescue aswell if i am not all wrong. all should be able to copy a CD or DVD just fine.
and to burn you have K3B, Cdrecord, DVD+RW... so no lack there either

Wine doesn't always work, however I have a friend that uses Cedega to run Win-games on his box, and Cedega seems to work for him.

I'm tryng to introduce Linux on my company's desktops.
Since MS Office is a must to exchange documents with customers, suppliers and half a world (sorry, but it is true), and since Windows is often crashing (we got many troubles on our collegues' PCs), here you will find my (IMHO) killer application.
Knoppix live CD with UnionFS and Wine.
Knoppix because is marvalous and has all the packages we need, LiveCD because nobody (except Admin) will play with the SO and install his damned programs7personalizations, and Wine & UnionFS because will let us install MS Office (OpenOffice is not quite compatible with, and also we have MS Access applications to run).
So, I copy Phantom69's request.
In the mean time I am waiting Knoppix Live CD 5.0 and then will try to remaster it.
