Root Shell

in the root shell.... my background colors are black... and text color is teal. and the font size is supersmall.... how can I change that... it is killing my eyes... and the only way I can truly read it... is to highlight it. Cant seem to find a help file in the program itself. I will go thru the docs on this site to see if I can find anything... but damn it is annoying!!!

any help would be appreciated
