error running live cd

When ever i try to run kanotix live cd i get this problem.Init:Panic:segmentation violation at oxfffe 420! sleeping foe 30 seconds segmentation fault /ect/init.d/rc:line 43:497 segmentation fault $debug $script $action. Can someone please till me what this means iam new to Kanotix trying to get a way from mircost products.Thanks

Is this Kanotix or Knoppix? Anyway, this looks like a bad burn. Check cd for errors with cheat code
testcd for Kanotix LiveCD or
knoppix testcdfor Knoppix LiveCD. This will take a few minutes, watch the screen until you see "Everything looks ok".
