boot problem with live cd

hey i've just downloaded the files of knoppix v5.01 and i burned the following files on a cd:

KNOPPIX_V5.0.1CD-2006-06-01-EN.iso
KNOPPIX_V5.0.1CD-2006-06-01-EN.iso.md5
KNOPPIX_V5.0.1CD-2006-06-01-EN.iso.md5.asc
KNOPPIX-CHANGELOG.txt
knoppix-cheatcodes.txt

i tried it on my laptop. although my cd-rom drive is the first boot device, it doesn't see the live cd as a bootable one and continues to windows. so i tried it on my pc but this time it gives the error "disk boot failure. insert system disk and press enter".

what should i do :roll:

ps: extracting .iso, never thought of that :P hope it'll work

No, it will not work, only waste another disc.
