6.4 mounting disks

i have gone to 6.4 knoppix and my external and internal disk is not showing on desktop; how do I find and mount?

Call up pcmanfm.
Look over its left-hand panel; likely it is there, somewhere.
One click (on each) may mount it.

That may be all you need.
If not, post what you've found out so far.
