hi there i would like to know if it is possible to configure knoppix BEFORE burning on CD.
in that case i would like to have an GCC compiler on my knoppix,
i have looked on the software but it isn´t included yet or am i worng?
if there is a possibility to configure knoppix before burning or get GCC to work plz tell me :)

i´ve tried before Mandrake Move but it hadn´t even gcc..
cann´n wait to try it out to bad that the iso is coming only with 37 kb/s to me -_-
but i can wait ^^

You can try the Italian mirror on this page (http://www.knopper.net/knoppix-mirrors/index-en.html) it usually gives me about 150 k/sec which is the maximum of my adsl line now that the scumbags have capped it.

i got it now and its great :)
i´m writing now an profile file which will lay on my windows HD.
and be prepared for SOME more questions(but i think i´ll rename then this thread or start a new one), i´ll be starting now in linux ;)
