Hello,
I had heard that the 2.6 kernal is avialiable on knoppix in the newest release, KNOPPIX_V3.3-2004-02-09-EN. Is it true, if so how does one boot to this kernal? I also downloaded the Knoppix34-ct ISO that contains the 2.6 kernal, but i would rather use the one from Knopper directly since it is english.

Please help me out since I am waiting to have a version of Knoppix with 2.6 (and a new power supply) in order to install Debian to my hard drive. Due to the fact that I have to change my drives around to improve performance.

Thanks for the Help

V3.3-2004-02-09 uses kernel 2.4.24-xfs

the 34-ct should boot to english with boot:knoppix lang=us or lang=en

The version 3.3 2004-02-09 does not have the 2.6 kernel. To boot in English with the c't Edition use knoppix26 lang=us to get the = character you need to use the SHIFT and 0 (zero) keys at the same time (the keyboard layout is German) and if you have a scroll wheel mouse you may want to add wheelmouse to the end of the cheat code line.
