Everything worked ok with my laptop using Knoppix 3.3. With Knoppix 3.4, I press return at the boot and I obtain a blackscreen and anything else.
Made some tries with framebuffer options but have to retry - anyway, does anyone managed out how to run knoppix 3.4 on this laptop? Thank you 8)
Hi:
You can try disabling some hardware detection like scsi or similar:
something like this, and you can see what is causing the problem.Code:knoppix noscsi
Ok I'll try and will be back with my results for future reference :-)
In order to get it to work, i had to start with
knoppix vga=normal acpi=off
and, to get the networkcard working,
sudo mii-tool -r
from a shell.
Hope this helps for other knoppers :-)
