Ok.....so knoppix loads and automatically configs my wireless adapter....but then I still cant get online?....what the dealio? I havent changed any of the settings or anything and I am running it from the CD-ROM. Sorry, i know this has come up a lot but i cant find the answer ANYWHERE
whooooops.......it figures that it was detecting and configuring my usb card not the wireless adapter (temporary retardation). BUT i started following the instructions to install the atmel driver n all that fun stuff but after i did make install....the syslog didnt show anything when i plugged my adapter in and nothing happened. Using the USB viewer i can see when i plug it in and take it out but it shows it as an unknown device. AHHHHHH!!! Oh well im thinking about just loading fedora onto my hard drive and then that might be easier? I dunno...hit me up with any suggestions on how to get this to work
