questions on what knoppix does and doesnt install

All i'm wondering is if knoppix installs anything on the HD if its booted from the cd? Does it install anything or change anything on my hard drive? Do i have to worry about it screwing something up on the hd if i run it from the cd?

nope... unless you have a swap drive, but thats only temp... otherwise, its pritty much all installed to the ram, so once the power is gone... its gone... you dont have to worry about knoppix... at all...
