Knoppix on Compaq Evo

Hi to all!

I have a Compaq Evo 400c laptop and it came with an external USB unit which I use to switch between floppy and Cdrom. However I can't boot from the CD! BIOS seems to be configured properly (booting from HD is the last option). Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what to do about it (need the MEU unit??)

Already used another bootcd other than knoppix to boot on it ?
Is that working ?

Try "boot: failsafe" and post the results.
