Knoppix boots on one computer but not the other?

On my laptop, knoppix boots fine, but on my desktop, I can get to the loading screen then the screen turns and flickers about 3-4 times, then does nothing. Help?

EDIT - One more thing, I already looked that the Knoppix DLing FAQ, and I couldn't find anything that helped.

Do you really think anyone will be able to help you, based on the very limited information that you posted??? You gave no details about either computer. We do know that the disc was at least made well enough to boot on one of the systems, but beyond your outright rejection of the many things covered in the downloading faq, we have nothing to go on. You didn't even bother to confirm the speed of the burn, the md5 check, or say what cheat codes you have tried. Do you want us to beg for more information?
