How to set tuner type fot bttv? (NEWBIE)

i was edit files :

#rm /etc/modules
#rm /etc/modules.conf
#rm /etc/modutils/actions
#cp /KNOPPIX/etc/modules /etc/modules
#cp /KNOPPIX/etc/modules.conf /etc/modules.conf
#cp /KNOPPIX/etc/modutils/actions /etc/modutils/actions
#echo "bttv" >> /etc/modules
#echo "tvaudio" >> /etc/modules

and for bttv sections added in /etc/modules.conf and /etc/modutils/actions

#-----------------bttv-------------------------
alias char-major 81-0 bttv
alias char major 81 videodev
options tuner type=1
options bttv pll=1 radio=1 card=37
#-----------------------------------------------

#depmod -a

and save all configuration to my disket (boot : KNOPPIX floppyconf)

#lsmod
#dmesg
still have message that tuner type doesnt set.

Anybody can help me for this problem without remastering KNOPPIX ?
