Intel PCMCIA Card

I'm trying to get a laptop with a wireless PCMCIA card to be able to access the internet in Knoppix (the newest version). On startup, it said something like "PCMCIA device autodetect FAILED", or something of the sort. I tried going into AirSnort, and it couldn't detect the card. It's an Intel Anypoint PCMCIA Adapter.
