which service is providing port 631 ? ([url]http://localhost:631[/url])

Hi,

after starting apache and opneing the conqueror for

http://localhost:631

port 631 is not reachable. Apache itselfs answers. Which service do i have to start to get an answer on port 631?

I believe this is CUPS

Hmmm....sad! CUPS is running on my system, apache also.....i've just been printing out a page on a printer (finally got it running), but no answer from port 631.

Any ideas?

Solved it by myself.....

http://localhost:631/admin

was the corect url for me.
