im trying to use nero to burn knoppix, but it tells me the cdr doesnt have enough space. what can i do? thanks
this is the message i get
"there is not enough space to burn this complation onto this disc. please insert another disc that provides more space"
and i also have tried various blank 700mb cdr's :cry:
If I remember from last week's burn, the file is 716 Mb. I didn't use Nero; I did get a burn, so maybe there's a bit more space on those CDs than we're told. Anyway, I believe there are 800 Mb CDs, but a local search didn't turn up any. I plan to go on the web and look for some.
You might try some other burning program; my disk loaded and worked, but with some decompression errors during install.

the iso is 699mb, thats why i cant understand the error
Well, that might explain why mine burned when the file said it was over 700 Mb. Did your file come from a hi-spd connection or dial-up? Any checksum error msgs on DL?
If no, then your DL was *likely* good and you might try a different CD-RW or a different program (nothing wrong with Nero, though, as far as I know.

But I've always experienced great results using http://www.burnatonce.com. <- It's very lightweight, too!
