Remotly hosted avatars used to be enabled on this forum. However it is impossable to control the size of avatars if they are remotely hosted.
If you were using a remotely hosted avatar, you must now upload it in your profile page.
maximum of 80x80 pixels, 6kb.

I tried to upload an avatar image (80x76 pixel .jpg sized 3,9kb) and it doesn't show up. If i try to use the URL upload it says it worked, my webserver was contacted indeed, but no avatar shows up. (Not in the forum and not in my profile.) When i try to upload the file directly it says profile was updated, (but no avatar is there) plus a set of php error messages show up. (see below) Maybe the nescessary directory access rights are not set in the avatar directory?

You might try sending a private message to Eadz. He is the only one that can fix this (if there really is a problem; I have not looked into that). He hasn't been as active in the forums in recent months as he was in the past, so he might not see your post.Quote:
