why knoppix says" can not write , drive is not writtabl

i made a dir ( mkdir /sound )
i checked and it is listed . I tried to save a file there but i got an error message saying can not write,hdb3 is not writtable. I also checked the permissions for the other drives too and they all say can not write to them etc....

How to fix this?

mount
/dev/hdb3 on / type ext3 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/root.old on /initrd type ext2 (rw)
none on /proc type proc (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)

cat /etc/fstab
