HP CISS Driver and mounting of scsi-disks

Hello.
I'm trying to mount some scsi-disks from my knoppix-CD.
Here's dmesg:
---------------------------
HP CISS Driver (v 2.4.50)
cciss: Device 0xb178 has been found at bus 0 dev 4 func 0
blocks= 142253280 block_size= 512
heads= 255, sectors= 32, cylinders= 17433 RAID 1(0+1)

blk: queue c0334300, I/O limit 4294967295Mb (mask 0xffffffffffffffff)
Partition check:
cciss/c0d0: p1 p2 p3
---------------------------
# lsmod
Module Size Used by Not tainted
autofs4 8756 1 (autoclean)
af_packet 13512 0 (autoclean)
cciss 58400 0 (unused)
tg3 45736 1
serial 51972 0 (autoclean)
usb-ohci 18184 0 (unused)
usbcore 57824 1 [usb-ohci]
rtc 6972 0 (autoclean)
cloop 8740 2
---------------------------

And "scsi_mod" won't load:
# modprobe scsi_mod
modprobe: Can't locate module scsi_mod

I must be missing something. Anyone wanna give me a helping
hand?

Thanx.

Hi there.

I just wanted to inform you that I found out how to mount my scsi-devices.
Knoppix wouldn't automaticly add the /dev/cciss/ -devices, so it had
to be done manually.

It's pretty good documented here:
/usr/src/linux-2.4.24-xfs/Documentation/cciss.txt on the knoppix-CD.
