using knoppix: i need to find where the boot ini xp file

Hi,

If you have a couple of empty diskettes you can go to:
http://www.bootdisk.com/ ...and download XP disks

After booting you just go to C:\ and make the file boot.ini as decribed above.

got hold of an xp disc and used the recovery console using the bootcfg to rebuild the boot.... the error message read "failed to successfully scan disks for windows installations, this error may be caused by a corrupt file system, which would prevent bootcfg from scanning." i used checkdsk to chk errors and it reported the volume was fine.....

now what do i do.....
