Knoppix 3.7 is out ... sort of

Personally, I'm going to wait until it's been officially released and they release an updated bug-fixed version. It seems like they always release a "fixed" version a couple days after the initial release.

ok i think i made a mistake while setting the torrent/tracker up, as this is the first time that i try to track a torrent... i may have fixed this problem, though, by changing the tracker URL to this:

http://placebis.net:6969/announce [XX--no more] [edit]YES MORE!![/edit]

just edit the tracker URL and add "announce" to the previous address. i think i've started to see a bit more action in my azureus console since i've made this change. anyway, best of luck!

i decided to split 40KB/s evenly between the eDonkey network / the Bittorrent tracker (recommended) since someone started using the torrent.

spammehere1234, did you have any trouble connecting to the tracker? if so, could you please tell us how you came to succeeding in connecting? alot of people are telling me they're getting a "torrent unauthorised" error when trying to connect... this is really weird... anyway...

no problem whatsoever. and forget edonkey... takes way too long to get anything meaningful accomplished there. my upstream's going to this torrent for the weekend. thanks for setting up the tracker.

Im into the torrent so I should be able to seed in a few hours. :roll: Should I leave it open overnight or is that useless?

EDIT: im a torrent newbie but heres what i think is going on, after I download the torrent if I leave it open i can continue to share the file/my bandwith so others can get it at quicker speeds?
