Does anyone know why Knoppix wont detect my wireless card? I put it in, then go to the configure wireless, and it tells me that there is no wireless card present. Any idea about how to fix this?

what kind of wirelss card is it?
If it is the linksys 802.11 B card it probably uses the acx100 chipset. This is a chipset that TI put out but won't release the drivers for. if you go to sourceforge.net and do a search for acx100 it will let you download drivers that have been reverse engineered.Does anyone know why Knoppix wont detect my wireless card? If it's the wpc11 wireless card and you upgraded your system recently, you just need to copy over the old config file in /etc/pcmcia. Optionally, you might need to downgrade hotplug to stable as it seems broken.
