I don't know where the knoppix hackers hang, but I try to browse
comp.os.linux.portable
comp.os.linux.hardware
comp.os.linux.networking

I have seen people getting help using knoppix in those groups now and again, so I'd guess those are good starting points.

Sowry, I was only trying to help, with what I knew, and had... I didn't know of any alt. groups, at least not the Linux ones, I come from a long history of the M$ ones, but KNEW that wouldn't be of any help.

So, I fell back to chat, something I am familiar with. I knew of the usenet, that and the old uuencode and uudecode stuff, basically where "it" all started from, that and the news-feeders...

Sorry, but I am sure, SOMEONE needed that information, right???? [giggle] (I am just pre-posting - lol)
