Hi,

Since Knoppix is great at hardware detection, is is possible to transfer the hardware info to another distribution? For example, is there some common file(s), containing the hardware info, that could be copied to floppy and applied to the installation of another distribution for the same pc? If so which path/file(s) would they be?
