HP omnibook 6100 (Standard config with 1GB RAM) "I have 20 units"

KNOPPIX 3.4-2004-05-17 (CD media md5sum is OK.)

DVD-ROM boots and main menu appears.
When I hit enter (for default knoppix24) or type knoppix26 then
startup hangs with blank screen just before penguin appearance.


KNOPPIX 3.3 Latest
Works fine. No problem.
