My mobo has 4 ide ports.

Ide 2 and 3 are RAID.

I have no drives connected and the ports are disabled in the PC's bios.

Knoppix 3.4 attempts to access each of these ports 3 times during boot, which delays boot for quite some time.

Is there any way to overcome this?
