Thats good PR!

It's hard for us, to wait just 4 another nigths to see
Knoppix on the mirrors but it seems to be a successful
PR on the CeBit. I don't know if they have still engough
CDs - the Knoppix-CD on the CeBit seems to be populare.
That we have to wait, is the price that the CeBit visitors
get something special and I hope that some journalists see
our reactions, that Knoppix is soooooo populare that many
people can't wait to get it.

For all who can't wait, I haven't found an ISO and no
screenshots, but here is the list with the software
of Knoppix 3.2: http://www.tukansoft.de/knoppix3_2_packages.txt

Wish you four sunny days,
rob

I found this on some ftp server :
* V3.1-2003-02-26a (CeBit edition)
- Lots of updates and bugfixes
- KDE 3.1 from ktown.kde.org/~nolden/ (woody)
- removed desktop=gnome option until a working gnome configuration is available
- added home=device and myconfig=device (alternate: home=scan myconfig=scan)
bootoption for persistent homedir and persistent configuration
- evolution 1.2.1
- removed some older games and packages to gain space
- openoffice 1.0.2 (german and english)
but I suspekt that 3.2 will have gnome added again.

when there the stable pack's is out.
ps. this might be old newz im not "up2date"

Anyone who gets the 3.2 release from the posted site :
Please, if you can, repost it from a different mirror, or use the bittorrent thingie...
The FTP posted takes very long, it's probably overcrowded now.

AtleO, thank you for posting v3.2.

Probably a stupid question, but how do I convert the above mentioned .bin file into and iso image? Any hints are appreciated, especially for use with KonCD.

Thanks,
CubeDweller
