alsa modules are loaded .
alsaconf detected and set up my card BUT i get this error
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device

so i have sound using the "stock" emu10k1 module and not the snd-emu10k1
if i remove the emu10k1 sound stops .


why snd ctl open failed?
