Save config does save a config file on /mnt/hda6 as told but reloading tha file at startup does not recover the saved config...several failures in the load msg stream..but stream vanishes too quickly to copy them down..

This seems to be a straight forward process with little room for user error...is it broken? or what should I be doing to save a recoverable config beside using the tux configure "save Knoppix configuration" option built in by Knoppix???

What am I missing?
