hey this isn't about a laptop it's about an lcd screen but since it got no attention in other sections of the forum i figured i would give it a shot here. I just hooked up my Dell 1801FP monitor and tried to run knoppix off cd but X won't start. I know everything is working fine i can here the "initiating startup sequence" i think i need to change the resolution and Refresh rate but i don't know how. Help !
