Salve,
I'm trying to run Knoppix on a laptop with 32MB.
At starting time Knoppix use 24MB of this rare memory for ramdisc.
So I have two alternative CheatCode ideas:
noramdisc - instead of creating the disc into ram, unsing a part
of a swappartition. AFAIK is a swappartition automaticaly
found & used.
filedisc=dev/hda3/foo/bar/filedisc - as alternative when no
big enough swappartition is on the system.
Ok, probably the such system wouldn't be fast, but this would be
a chance to run it also on smaller ones.
Any ideas where, how to fork this? (KNOPPIX.sh)?
Greetings,
rob
