    Network Config ???

    How does one set up IP address etc... after loading?

    Click the penguin icon wich is 2nd from the left on the taskbar. Via Network/Internet > Network card configuration, select your network interface (mostly eth0). If you have dhcp support you don't have to type the IP adress.
