i am going to be buying an external hard drive here soon as was going to take the nessary steps to turn it in to a portable game drive. i was wondering has any one heard of any slow down related to installing to external drives via usb 2.0?
ok so i got it. its a 40 gig external hard drive and im am currently partioning it into a 30 and a ten. the ten being for linux. will i have any problem booting to an external hard drive? and how should i go about with the smaller partion i am useing for linux...should i format it? and if i should how? with ntfs or what....very confused geek here
