Ok i have the 3.4 version of Knoppix and it is the Live CD one. but is there anyway I can put it on the HD and just use the disc to tell it to boot up Knoppix witch is on the HD?![]()

Use knoppix-installer from root and follow directions. Make sure you have a linux partition to install it to. I used the multi user install and it works fine for me. Used Debian and kdm would not startup.
Easy. Use the tohd and fromhd bootcodes. You still use CD to get to the boot screen, but you can take it out after the boot is complete. Loads much faster. While you're at it, set up a persistent home so that you can save programs and data, and do a save configuration.Originally Posted by Fuel
