Sharing 56 internet connexion by a WINXP PC.

Hi,

first of all,
i have internet on my brother's pc, now im on windows xp and it shares his connexion with my pc.

i want to do the same but on linux.

I want to share his connexion from WINXP with my PC on Knoppix.

could you explain me how to do step by step simply ? I'm kinda noob so...

it should work as is iirc. depending on how you have the XP setup...
it should only requore you to configure the network for dhcp and you are off (default i think) not 100% certain on the XP side, have no xp upp just now...
if dhcp is not activated you do:
K (on the menubar) --> knoppix -->network/internet-->Network card configuration-->choose dhcp
