Multiple Problems | Help please

Hello all. First, I wanted to say sorry for posting quite a long topic, but I thought it'd be better to open one post rather than clutter the forum with multiple ones.

Alright, well, I did an hd install of knoppix since I liked it so much, but altogether then, I seem to have encountered a few problems. One of them being that I can't open applications like xchat, synaptic and gaim to name a few. The good news is that I get pretty much the same error msg when those applications don't open. For example:

So I try apt-get -f install, unsure of whether that will help. Here are a list of the packages that'll be installed :

It tries to unpack, but I get this same error with every package that is trying to be installed:

Sorry to bump the post, but if you can contribute or have any clue at all how any of the above could be fixed, please feel free to post

You never showed the important part of the error but with this one it is most likely needing to overwrite the file use.

dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/libxtrap6_4.3.0.dfsg.1-4_i386.deb

For these parts you need to comment out the lines in your sources.list for the people.debian and kitname ones.

Then you need to run apt-get update I have no clue on the pango problem.
